Built like the real thing

The ball isn't on rails. Every delivery is real physics, from the moment it leaves the bowler's hand to the moment it reaches the rope.

Middle it and you'll feel it

The sweet spot isn't drawn on. It comes from the bat's weight and shape, so a middled drive flies and a thick edge squirts away to third man.

Your bat, not a guess at it

Put both controllers on the bat and the game blends them. If one loses sight of the cameras, the other carries the swing, so the blade stays where your hands put it.

Read it out of the hand

Pace bowlers swing it and seam it. Spinners drift it and turn it off the pitch. You read it from the hand, the seam and the flight, the same way you would in the nets.

Look down and your batsman is there, pads and all. The body is solid, so a ball on the pads can be given out LBW, and on Hard a ball to the head without a helmet ends your innings.

A field that fights back

Fielders chase, dive and take catches. The keeper stands up to stump you if you wander out of your crease. The umpire signals the fours, the sixes and the wides, and the crowd reacts to every one.

Three ways to bat

10 overs

Match

Bat a 10-over innings at RealBat Stadium or the Colosseum. The score counts ball by ball, so the leaderboard keeps every run, even if you quit halfway.

2 or 3 minutes

Auto-fire

The machine fires to the beat. Rapid gives you two minutes, Normal three. Score as many as you can before the clock runs out, then look at your wagon wheel and your sweet-spot map.

Unlimited

The nets

Choose the bowler: pace, swing, seam, off-spin, leg-spin or left-arm. Face as many balls as you want and replay any shot from any angle.

Questions

Do I need a real cricket bat?

No. You can bat with just a Touch controller in your hand. If you have a bat, strap the controller to the back of it, below the handle, and the game will match the bat to it.

Which headsets does it run on?

Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The demo runs in the Quest's own browser.

How do I open the demo?

Put on your Quest, open the Browser and go to rbcvr.com. Press Play free now, then Enter VR, and take guard.

Is the demo really free?

Yes. You don't need a card or to install anything. After your first balls, add your email to keep batting in the nets. The full game, with matches, all the grounds and the leaderboards, is on the Meta Horizon Store.

How much space do I need?

Enough room to swing a bat freely in every direction, with your Quest boundary set around it. Stand clear of walls, furniture and other people.
